By subscribing to or using Syntec Membership, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before getting started.
Syntec Membership is a B2B loyalty platform operated by Syntec Privacy Protection, based in Trinidad and Tobago. The service provides businesses with NFC-based member check-ins, visit tracking, automated rewards, and a member portal.
These Terms govern the relationship between Syntec Privacy Protection ("we", "us", "Syntec") and the business subscribing to the platform ("you", "the Client").
Syntec Membership is available to registered businesses operating in Trinidad and Tobago and other supported territories. By subscribing, you confirm that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business.
Syntec Membership is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Current plans are:
Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice. The setup fee is non-refundable once onboarding has commenced.
Monthly subscription fees are due at the start of each billing cycle. Failure to pay within 7 days of the due date may result in suspension of your account. Syntec reserves the right to terminate accounts with outstanding balances after 30 days.
All payments are currently processed manually. Automated billing may be introduced in future at which point additional notice will be provided.
Upon payment of the setup fee, Syntec will configure your membership portal, check-in system, and NFC cards or keychains. The standard onboarding timeline is 3–7 business days. Delays caused by the client (e.g. failure to provide required information) do not entitle a refund.
Physical NFC cards and keychains provided as part of your setup remain the property of the client once delivered. Lost or damaged cards may be replaced at an additional cost. Syntec is not responsible for cards lost or misused after delivery.
You agree to use Syntec Membership only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
As the client, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your customers (members) before enrolling them in your loyalty program. Syntec processes member data on your behalf as a data processor. You remain the data controller and bear responsibility for compliance with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction.
We aim to maintain high availability of the Syntec Membership platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Syntec is not liable for losses arising from temporary service disruptions.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us via WhatsApp. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period. Upon cancellation, you may request an export of your member data within 30 days.
Syntec reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to make payment, or engage in conduct that damages the platform or other clients. In such cases, setup fees and any unused subscription period are non-refundable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Syntec Privacy Protection shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Syntec Membership after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
